Over-exceptional, Uneducational, Inspirational

It has been a while since I have made a post. Activities happen, and computers crash--it's life!

There are a few things I would like to point out. In my extended sabbatical, I have noticed a thing or two about shoes. I do my best to not mock other people's attire. Fashion is an interpretive art form representing the person. Sometimes, that person may just be saying a little too much about their personality. There are many ways to divulge into this topic, but we are a general shoe blog. We'll focus on footwear, shall we?

It is possible to support the troupes--I encourage it! Support the Boys in Blue! With that concept, complications may arise. A line must be drawn somewhere. A ribbon or a decorative pin should suffice in showing support, and flair is on the rise for up and coming statements! Shoes? Not so much, dear. Perhaps a rally or fundraiser would benefit from wearing historically accurate combat boots. There are cuter ways of dressing, though. Naturally, I discourage any type of military insignia on feet. Shoes are lovely; feet are not. It's almost like walking on someone!

There are shoes that scream uneducated fashion sense with a slight twinge of insecure need for attention. These happen to be my favorite shoes of all time. Of course I don't wear them, silly! I like to look at them and be reminded that I was not the poor schmuck that got suckered into paying good money for them! I have been schmoozed into a few things in my life, but buying shoes on the verge of tacky for strange reasons is not one of those things. These shoes make a worse statement than "I don't care." They say, "I care so much that I am trying way too hard!!!" I inwardly giggle at the very thought! Oh, these are fun footwear indeed!

The other option that I bring up tonight is that of identity. The shoe that identifies with the wearer based on artistic interpretation of an outfit as a whole; however, the shoe can stand on its own--no pun intended. This specific shoe is the type I try to wear. The type of shoe that can make almost any outfit take an unexpected but delightful turn. The shoe is an outfit by itself, therefore, can only enhance anything paired with it! The inspirational identity of a shoe can be simply astounding.
